Mr. Stern graduated from Williams College with B.A. in Political Science in 1990. He received a J.D. degree from Penn State University, The Dickinson School of Law, in 1994, where he served as Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of International Law. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, in 1995.

Mr. Stern served as law clerk to the Honorable Karen D. Russell, J.S.C., Presiding Civil Judge Morris and Sussex Vicinages, in 1994 and 1995. He worked for the firm of Sullivan and Graber in Morristown, NJ, from 1995 to 2009, becoming a partner in 2003. Mr. Stern has been associated with Braff, Harris and Sukoneck since 2010.

Mr. Stern has extensive experience handling litigated matters including cases involving motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, products liability, construction, insurance coverage, insurance fraud, employment law, commercial disputes and commercial leases. He has tried a number of cases to successful verdict and has appeared in the Appellate and Federal Courts. He has served as guest lecturer and seminar speaker in the areas of insurance coverage and insurance fraud.
